House and bathing rules
I GENERAL REGULATIONS
§ 1 Purpose of the house and bathing rules
The house and bathing rules serve to maintain and guarantee safety, order and cleanliness in the whole area of the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad.
§ 2 Binding character of the house and bathing rules
1. The house and bathing rules of the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad are binding for all guests.
2. Upon acquisition of the access authorisation, every guest accepts the house and bathing rules as well as any additional regulation in order to guarantee a safe and orderly operation.
3. The personnel or other authorised persons of the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad exercise domestic authority. Instructions by the personnel or other authorised persons of the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad have to be obeyed. Guests who violate the house and bathing rules can be banished from our house. Moreover, a ban on entering our house can be declared by the managing director / executive board or its authorised persons. The entrance fee is not reimbursed in such cases.
4. In special areas, e.g. solaria, gastronomy, fitness rooms, pools as well as special facilities thereof, e.g. massage nozzles, counter-current devices etc., the regulations specified there are additionally applicable.
§ 3 Guests
1. In principle, entrance to the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad is up to everyone. In certain bathing areas, restrictions may exist (cf. above all § 7).
2. Every guest has to possess a valid access authorisation for the respective utility area.
3. For persons who cannot move savely or even endanger themselves due to physical or mental impairment, entrance to the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad is only permitted if accompanied by a qualified assistant.
4. Inter alia, access is not permitted for persons,
being under the influence of intoxicants,
being accompanied by animals,
suffering from transmissible diseases or open wounds,
having the intention to use the bath for business or other non-conventional purposes.
5. Every guest has to be aware of the fact that an increased accident hazard exists in baths, resulting e.g. from wet and / or soapy floorage. Special caution is therefore advised. Anti-slip bathing shoes are recommendable.
§ 4 Opening times, offers and prices
1. The opening times and valid price list placarded are an integral part of our house and bathing rules.
2. Special access requirements for entrance and opening times are applicable for certain bathing offers (e.g. Ladies’ Day).
3. In case the use of certain sections or individual offers is restricted, no claim as to abatement or reimbursement exists.
4. Access authorisations acquired are not reimbursed.
5. Change has to be controlled immediately; belated reclamations will not be accepted.
§ 5 Instructions
1. The guests have to refrain from any action offending taste and decency as well as running contrary to the maintenance of safety, tranquility and order. Sexual acts and depictions are forbidden.
2. Different dress codes exist in the individual bathing areas; regulations thereto are laid down in the respective instructions and rules.
3. Barefoot areas must not be entered with outdoor shoes, perambulators or wheelchairs.
4. The use of musical instruments, sound or picture playback units as well as of other media (e.g. mobile phones) is forbidden for our bathing guests.
5. Devices with which photos and / or films can be shot may not be taken into the textile-free area. The shooting of photos and / or films of other persons is forbidden without their explicit consent.
6. The use of sports equipment or toys as well as of buoyancy aids is only permitted upon permission of the supervisory staff.
7. A thorough cleaning has to be effected before bathing. Shaving, cutting of nails, dyeing of hair etc. is not allowed.
8. The consumption of food and drinks is only permitted in the areas specially designated. In the gastronomy, the consumption of food and drinks brought along is forbidden.
9. Fragile receptacles (e.g. made of glass or china) must not be brought along.
10. Smoking is only permitted in the areas specially designated.
11. Deckchairs and sunbeds must not be reserved. If necessary, the personnel is required to clear reserved deckchairs and sunbeds.
12. Objects found have to be handed over to the personnel and are subsequently handled according to legal regulations.
13. Lockers and / or security compartments are at the guests’ disposal only during the period of validity of their access authorisation. No claim exists as to the use of lockers and / or security compartments. After closing hours, all locked lockers and / or security compartments are opened and, if necessary, cleared. The content is handled as lost property.
14. Individual areas of the Kurmittelhaus are controlled by cameras.
II REGULATIONS FOR THE BATHING AND WELLNESS SECTION
§ 6 Purpose and use of the wellness section
1. The bathing and wellness section of the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad serves the health promotion and relaxation of its guests.
2. For the use of the wellness section, the recommendations of the German Sauna Association are to be observed; these recommendations can be looked into in the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad.
3. The wellness section is a textile-free area.
§ 7 Guests of the bathing and wellness section
Children from the age of 10 years on may use the motion and exercise pool; adolescents from the age of 16 years on may use the wellness section.
§ 8 Conduct in the wellness section
1. The use of the steam rooms is only permitted textile-free.
2. During a stay in the sauna, sporty activities are not recommended.
3. Sauna and hot air rooms with wooden benches are only to be used with an adequately sized bathing towel (equalling the body height). The wooden parts must not be impurified by sweat.
4. For hygienic reasons, seat pads or towels should be used in steam and hot air rooms made of ceramics or plastics. The seating areas should be cleaned with the water hoses at hand.
5. Technical fixtures (e.g. heating devices, lighting fixtures, sauna heaters incl. guard grids and sensing heads) must not be covered with objects of any kind.
6. Thongs are to be put off in front of the steam rooms for security reasons.
7. For reasons of mutual respect, loud conversations, scraping clean from sweat, brushing etc. are not allowed in the steam rooms. Nothing must be taken into the steam rooms except for seat pads / towel. Separate regulations are applicable for the bathing temple.
8. After a stay in the steam rooms, sweat has to be showered off prior to the use of the cold water diving pool or other pools.
9. In relaxation rooms, the guests should behave respectfully and silently. In silent / absolute relaxation rooms, noise is to be avoided.
10. Relaxation couches must only be used when wearing a bathrobe or being enwrapped in a dry, body-sized underlay.
11. The gastronomy must only be entered with a bathrobe or a dry bath towel enwrapping the body.
§ 9 Special instructions
1. Persons with health problems should clarify in advance whether special risks exist when taking a sauna.
2. Traditionally, special conditions exist in the sauna and steam rooms, e.g. higher room temperatures, dimmed light, step benches and different heat sources. All these factors require the bathing guest to pay special attention.
3. Sauna infusions are solely carried out by our personnel.
III REGULATIONS FOR THE POOL AREAS
§ 10 Purpose and use of the pools
The pools of the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad serve health promotion, kinetics and recovery of the bathing guests. Different factors (e.g. water temperature, pool design, water depth) determine the way of use.
§ 11 Conduct in the pool area
1. The use of our pools requires special respect towards other bathing guests.
2. The pool water must not be impurified. A thorough cleaning has to be effected prior to use.
3. Jumping into the pool from the pool edge as well as bouncing or hustling other bathing guests into the water is forbidden.
4. Out of the textile-free area, the wearing of usual, normal bathing clothes is required.
IV REGULATIONS AS TO LIABILITY
§ 12 Liability in case of damage
1. The guests use the Kurmittelhaus Sibyllenbad at their own risk. The operator or its agents do only assume liability in case of willful intent or gross negligence, the exception being damage resulting from injuries endangering life, body or health. This is also applicable for any vehicle parked on the car park of the bath. The operator does not assume any liability for force majeure, coincidence as well as for shortcomings which may occur or are not discerned despite compliance with and observation of the usual diligence.
2. The operator only assumes liability for the loss of valuables, cash and clothing according to legal regulations. This is also applicable in case of material damage caused by third parties. Due to the fact that lockers and / or security compartments are at the guests’ disposal, no obligation as to depositing is created. In case of using lockers and / or security compartments, the bathing guests are responsible for locking these facilities, to control closure thereof and to carefully keep the respective keys / data carriers.
3. Upon loss of the access authorisation, locker and / or security compartment keys, data carriers of the payment system or returnables, a standard deduction becomes due. The individual sums are enlisted in the valid price list.
V Salvatorian clause
In case individual regulations of these house and bathing rules are or become ineffective, effectiveness of all additional regulations is not affected.
