Important information for your visit

Dear guests,

since 15 June 2020, we have been able to provide a partial range of offers in the frame of the Corona safeguarding measures in our medical section (physiotherapy, radon-carbon dioxide baths, natural fango) as well as during consultation hours through our senior balneologist; now, the new regulations enacted by the Bavarian government make possible the operation of the bathing and wellness section from 27 July 2020 on.

After the closure imposed on us in March, we are very happy about this restart – for we have been missing YOU.

However, the numerous restrictions we have to observe and take into consideration only make possible a mode of operation different from the one you were used to before Corona. We therefore ask for your understanding. Health protection and the maximum reduction of a risk of infection for guests and staff still have top priority as regards all our offers and business processes.

1. Compulsory registration

In order to be able to identify and trace possible infection chains, we have to gather the data of our guests prior to entering the bathing resp. wellness section on individual forms at the bath counter. The respective form is available there. However, it would even be better to already fill in the form (available on our website under https://www.sibyllenbad.de/en/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2020/07/Registration-form.pdf ) at home, to print it out and bring it with you. Our template can be filled in and also stored on your PC so as to have it available for your next visit with us.

The data collection is subject to the DSGVO (German Data Protection Regulation) and all forms are destroyed upon expiry of one month.

2. Opening times

From 27 July 2020 on, the bathing section is open daily from 08.00 – 20.00 h, the wellness section from 10.00 – 20.00 h. The ladies’ day in the sauna section takes place every Tuesday (except for official [bank] holidays in Bavaria) from 17.00 h on.

3. Are there bans on access?

No access to the Kurmittelhaus is granted to persons who had contact to persons infected with COVID-19 within the last 14 days as well as to persons with unspecified general symptoms and respiratory symptoms (breathing problems) of any kind and severeness. In case of acute symptoms during the visit, the Kurmittelhaus has to be left immediately.

4. Entrance fees

3-hour-tickets are both available for the bathing section as well as for a combined bathing and wellness section ticket:

Bathing section 3 hours: 8.90 €
Wellness section 3 hours: 16.50 €

Reduced entrance fees (degree of disability 50 or higher)
Bathing section 3 hours: 6.90 €
Wellness section 3 hours: 14.50 €

The temporary VAT reduction has already been taken into account in aforementioned prices.

Please observe the maximum duration of your stay in order to avoid a chargeable overdraft of the time booked and to enable all patients and guests to visit the bathing and wellness section for therapy and relaxation purposes.

At present, an advance reservation for your visit is not required. If necessary, however, we will have to react in this respect in order to prevent an exceedance of the maximum number of visitors.

Unfortunately, certain actions such as special discounts, VdK-day, summer tickets as well as an extension of the bathing time etc. cannot be offered for the time being. We ask you to please make cashless payments or pay with vouchers at the bath counter.

5. Where do I have to wear a mouth-and-nose protective mask?

The mouth-and-nose protective mask has to be worn in the entrance area (at the bath counter and upon making medical appointments) as well as in the medical section (in the waiting areas and during therapies).

In the wet areas, i.e. the bathing and sauna section, no mouth-and-nose protection is required; the same is true for the outdoor areas. In the bathing and wellness section, you will need a mouth-and-nose protection on your way from the bath counter to the changing rooms and from there back to the bath counter and the exit.

6. Very important: please observe a minimum distance of 1.50 meters!

Please observe a minimum distance of 1.50 meters to other persons in the whole Kurmittelhaus, the exception being therapies. This is above all applicable in the bathing and wellness section where the mouth-and-nose protection may be taken off.

7. Are all facilities in the bathing section open?

All pools including the outdoor pools are accessible. Unfortunately, attractions such as floor bubbles and goosenecks as well as the whirlpool cannot be operated due to the hygiene regulations imposed by the Bavarian government. Moreover, the steam baths and the infrared-cabin on the balcony are closed (as also here a risk of transmission of infections due to aerosols is given).

Due to the stipulations imposed by the Bavarian government, the room temperature is regulated by 100% external air.

Our water gymnastics for everyone takes place as usual. Please observe the minimum distance of 1.50 meters to other persons especially in the pool.

The fitness studio with synchro training cycle is open.

Introduction incl. personal training card and towel                19.40 €

Single ticket 1.5 h                                                                              4.90 €

for bathing and wellness section                                                  3.90 €

8. Which facilities can be used in the wellness section?

All saunas in the wellness section except for our steam baths (steam bath in the basement of the wellness section as well as oriental bathing temple) can be used. With the exception of the infusion sauna, a maximum occupancy of two persons at a time is permissible in the sauna cabins. A minimum distance of 1.50 meters has to be observed (also among people from one joint household) and a sitting underlay has to be used (sauna towel). Infusions may only be carried out without air distribution („waggling“).

9. Resting benches

Both in the motion bath as well as in the wellness section, a minimum distance of 1.50 meters has to be observed between the individual benches (the only exception being for people from one joint household). Please do not change the predetermined positions by moving the benches.

10. Journey / parking

Sufficient parking space is available for our guests. Please observe a minimum distance of 1.50 meters to other guests also on the parking spaces.

11. Treatments in the medical section

The medical offers are (almost) completely available. Due to the stipulations made, we do not offer rehab sports groups as well as exercise treatments / physiotherapy in the motion bath as individual treatments for the time being.

13. Hygiene and disinfection

Please observe the known regulations as regards hand washing and minimum distance. We have increased the number of cleaning and disinfection cycles according to the stipulations imposed. Please always remember to bring along shower gel and bathing shoes. Disinfection dispensers are to be found all over the Kurmittelhaus.

14. Drinking fountain / internet access point

Unfortunately, both offers are not available at present.

RÉSUMÉ:

The Corona pandemic is not a thing of the past. We are trying to make – according to the stipulations imposed – a visit in the Sibyllenbad as attractive as possible to you. Nevertheless, the present situation cannot be compared to the time before 14 March 2020 and the same is true for our range of offers.

We ask you to please observe the current regulations and stipulations, above all the minimum distance to other guests, and to follow the instructions of our staff.

The Sibyllenbad management and team thank you very much for your understanding.

Stay healthy!

Gerhard Geiger
Managing Director Sibyllenbad
